About Our Practice

Olentangy Pediatrics is a private pediatric practice in Columbus, Ohio. We provide primary care and psychological services for infants, children, and adolescents. Founded in 1989, we are a team of physicians, child psychologists, triage nurses, medical assistants, and administrative individuals.

Appointments

We schedule well visits up to 6 months in advance. All well visits will be with your primary provider. All sick visits are scheduled on the same day, in time order. This accommodates those children who may become sick later in the day.

Behavioral Health appointments are exclusive to current patients and require a referral from your primary provider.

There is a $25 charge for no-show appointments in which the appointment is not kept and/or the office staff has not been notified of cancellation at least 2 hours prior to an ill appointment and at least 24 hours prior to a well-child appointment. Each appointment is precious time for the patient and physician. An appointment that is not kept is lost time in which another child could have been seen.

There is a $150 charge for no-show appointments or failure to give 24-hour notice of cancellation for all psychology appointments.

You may be asked to reschedule if you are more than 20 minutes late for an appointment.

New Patients

Please call our office to see which of our providers are currently accepting new older patients and newborns.

Prior to any appointment for a new patient that is not a newborn, we will need to receive all records from the previous/current provider.

*We require a parent or guardian to be present at the patient's first appointment. If there is not one present, you will be asked to reschedule.

On Call Doctors and Emergencies

Phone calls after 4:30 pm and on weekends are relayed through our voicemail system to the office nurse or the pediatrician on call. If you do not receive a return call within a reasonable time (2 hours), please call again, as wrong numbers, misunderstandings, and emergencies do occur. Remember, you must leave a telephone number for us to return your call.

You can also check here for Pediatric Advice.

*Please do not leave a number that cannot accept blocked calls. Most of our physicians will be returning your call on a blocked line unavailable to public callers.

If your child's problem is truly an emergency and there is no time to call us, call 911, and the squad will take your child to Children's Emergency Room. The physician there will contact us. Please inform the Emergency Room Staff that we are your pediatricians.
